We deliver assemblies on a huge range of topics including Christian festivals, Remembrance Day, various key life skills or some of the projects we are involved in such as Feed and the Sleepout (see our Social Action Projects section). We try and make our assemblies thought provoking and engaging and they can involve trying unique food items and dressing up. Assembly topics should be discussed with the Schools Coordinators.
Some of our volunteers will focus their time and attention on a particular year group in a school and part of this may be delivering form times on a regular basis to provide a thought for the day. Our standard structure is that a volunteer will come in once a week and do the same form time with each of the forms over a 6 week period (based on a 6-formed year group). The volunteer will then produce a new form time to be delivered to all the forms.
