Remembrance at Step

Chris Birch-Evans, our Step Director ran a remembrance service at Townsend Church of England School on Tuesday. At 10.50 60 students and staff chose to come and gather together to remember those that have lost their lives in the first two world wars and the other conflicts that have followed. They also remembered others they had lost through divorce and bereavement. The students were encouraged to write the names of those they remembered down on their poppies and to either wear them with pride or plant them on the school remembrance hill, which Step had built for them earlier in the day.
